Our Story
Welcome to Dixon Acres! We are located in Ennismore Ontario area and are avid lovers of the Golden Retriever breed. We have a large family that has all been actively involved in raising our Goldens. All of our Golden Retrievers are raised in our home in a family setting as are our puppies. Dixon Acres, formerly Carriage House Kennel, has been breeding Golden Retrievers since 2016. Dixon Acres is owned and maintained by Olivia and Keith Dixon.
Well-Rounded Puppies
At Dixon Acres our goal is to produce a well-rounded puppy that has been well socialized to people of to a variety of different sounds.
Socialized around Families
We socialize with the goal to reduce fearful traits and reduce fearful reactions/behaviours too; such as fireworks, thunderstorms, motorbikes, kids playing and crying, etc.
Lifetime Support
We offer lifetime support as breeders, providing it as needed and do our best to support our families.
Health Screened
We screen all our dogs for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, eyes and heart using OFA and PennHIP as well as genetic testing.
